Virginia Richards

 Virginia joined the firm as an articling student in May 2009, and became an associate following her call to the British Columbia Bar in 2010. Her practice is primarily focused on estate litigation, family law, and personal injury law. She has assisted counsel in a variety of matters, including hearings before the British Columbia Supreme Court.
Prior to joining the firm, Virginia completed two degrees at the University of British Columbia. She graduated with an Honours in Political Science in 2006, and she obtained her Juris Doctor from the Faculty of Law in 2009. While attending UBC Law, Virginia was an assistant editor of the UBC Law Review and the Canadian Journal of Family Law. Virginia’s work experience includes a summer internship adjudicating workers’ compensation claims in the Review Division at the Worker's Compensation Board.
When Virginia is not at the office, she can be found playing field hockey or hiking in the mountains surrounding Vancouver.
Virginia is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Canadian Bar Association.
